  • Is this course suitable for complete beginners?

    • Yes. The training is designed for anyone curious about Ayurveda and food wisdom, regardless of background.

  • Do I need any background in Ayurveda or Sanskrit?

    • No prior knowledge is needed. Concepts and Sanskrit terms will be explained gradually and clearly.

  • Is this training religious or sect-based?

    • Not at all. Ayurveda is nature-based, not belief-based. The course is non-religious and open to all.

  • Will I receive a certificate or become an Ayurveda Nutritionist?

    • No. This is an education immersion — not a practitioner certification program.

  • Is the training theoretical or practical?

    • The training is primarily theoretical and reflective.

    • There will be observation-based practices, food journaling, and discussions.

  • Can I start applying what I learn right away?

    • Yes. You’ll be encouraged to reflect and adapt your food habits with daily insights.

  • Do I need to follow an Ayurvedic diet to join?

    • No. The training is not prescriptive. It empowers you to make choices with awareness, not follow fixed rules.

  • Can I bring someone along to the training?

    • Only registered participants may attend the sessions. Companions are welcome to stay nearby.

  • Can I attend only some days of the training?

    • No. The training is structured as a complete journey; each session builds on the last.

  • What is Ayurveda’s view on food?

    • Food is life-giving, sacred, and central to our mental, physical, and emotional balance.

  • What is Agni (digestive fire) and why is it important?

    • Agni determines how well you digest and absorb. You’ll explore its four types and how they influence health.

  • What does “You are what you digest” mean?

    • Your well-being depends on how well you assimilate food — not just what you eat.

  • What are the six tastes (Shadrasa) and their role in food?

    • Sweet, sour, salty, pungent, bitter, and astringent — each impacts digestion, emotions, and energy differently.

  • Will I learn how food affects my dosha (body type)?

    • Yes. You'll understand how to choose foods that support Vata, Pitta, or Kapha tendencies.

  • Will I be told my Ayurvedic constitution (Prakriti)?

    • Yes.

  • Will I receive recipes or food plans?

    • No fixed plans are provided — instead, you'll learn adaptable principles to make your own informed choices.

  • Will fasting be discussed?

    • Yes. You’ll explore when fasting is helpful, when it's harmful, and how it affects the mind and body.

  • Is seasonal eating taught?

    • Yes. The principle of Ritucharya — eating with seasonal rhythms — will be a key topic.

  • Why is meal timing emphasized?

    • You'll learn to align meals with your body clock to improve digestion, energy, and sleep.

  • What about modern foods — processed, refrigerated, or fast food?

    • These will be examined from an Ayurvedic lens, including their long-term effects on health and clarity.

  • How are dairy, coffee, and fermented foods viewed?

    • These are discussed contextually — based on dosha, digestion, and timing — not with blanket rules.

  • Will we learn about common home remedies?

    • Yes. You'll explore simple herbs and spices used in daily life for digestive and immune support.

  • Will modern and traditional nutrition systems be compared?

    • Yes. You'll examine how ancient wisdom aligns with and diverges from modern nutrition science.

  • How does Ayurveda explain food beyond nutrition?

    • Food is energy, clarity, and emotion — not just calories or nutrients.

  • What is mindful eating in Ayurveda?

    • It’s about eating with presence, awareness, and gratitude — treating food as a sacred act.

  • How are food myths handled?

    • With context and care. You’ll understand their origin, when they apply, and when they no longer serve.

  • Is registration required in advance?
